Bishop Erica is a devoted servant of God, ordained as a priest and consecrated as a Bishop within Saint Michael’s American Old Catholic Church. A devoted wife and mother of nine, she brings a deep sense of compassion, resilience, wisdom and faith to others, shaped by a lifetime of spiritual experiences, and journey of faith.
From a young age, Erica’s unique experiences set her on a path of discernment and service. These experiences, coupled with her fearless and empathetic nature, strengthened her commitment to helping others navigate the troubles in their lives. Over the years, she faced personal trials, including moments of hardship and loss, which deepened her reliance on faith and her resolve to serve God’s will.
After hardship, and through prayer, Erica’s spiritual awareness grew, leading her to seek Counseling with Archbishop Nick Cucchiaro and Bishop Rita Strugala. The results lead to her wanting to help connect others to the services provided by Saint Michaels, thus beginning her journey to ordination as a priest and eventual consecration as a bishop, roles in which she serves with humility and dedication. Bishop Erica maintains a vital role with the Church as the Volunteer Records Keeper for Training Files and as the Volunteer Website Design Manager, as well as providing support to clergy and professionals in need.
Her perseverance through adversity reflects her unwavering faith and commitment to justice. Today, she continues to serve her community through Saint Michael’s American Old Catholic Church, where she finds purpose in helping others find their purpose.
